Front Mission Wiki

The Canyon Crows (キャニオンクロウ Kyanionkurou) are a mercenary group led by former OCU Ground Defense Force (OCUGDF) captain Royd Clive. They played an instrumental role during the Second Huffman Conflict in helping the OCU push back the invading U.S.N. forces. The group is made up of the main playable characters of the Front Mission First OCU scenario.

Overview[]

The Canyon Crows were founded during the Second Huffman Conflict and were employed by the OCU to aid the war effort against the USN. Colonel Guri B. Olson was the units founder and dispatch commander. The group is composed of a mix of highly skilled individuals with some having a military background, some of them being military volunteers, and others simply being civilians familiar with piloting wanzers. They participated in many different skirmishes and missions against the USN forces that turned the tide of the war with the OCU, resulting in the invading forces being pushed back. One of their most well-known achievements was managing to defeat the USNs 64th Mobile Division, "Hell's Wall," resulting in the OCU managing to liberate Freedom City from USN control. They were also on the front lines in the battle of Morgan Fortress that led to the OCU being able to march on Fort Monus, the USNs main base on Huffman Island. After the end of the Second Huffman conflict the group was placed under the command of the Zaftran Peace Mediation Organization (PMO) and fought several battles against the terrorist group known as the Spirit of Huffman. Later, after a series of events in which the Crows learned of the truth behind the Second Huffman Conflict, the group turned against the PMO in an attempt to capture and expose the true culprits behind the war.
