The Mechanic job is appears throughout the Front Mission series as an enemy exclusive job before becoming available to players in Front Mission 5: Scars of the War. Enemy mechanics are the only units that can heal other units, while player mechanics can learn skills to reduce the damage that they take and increase the amount of HP that is healed when they repair themselves or other units.
