The U.S.N. Army is the land service branch of the military of the United States of the New Continent that appears throughout the Front Mission series.

History[]

Huffman Conflicts[]

Following the settlement of Huffman Island, tensions between the O.C.U. and the U.S.N. would rise, which eventually resulted in the First Huffman Conflict breaking out in 2070. In 2072, the O.C.U. Army was able to gain an advantage over the U.S.N. Army, which would result in the Zaftran Peace Mediation Organization mediating an end to the conflict and a border being established near the Mail River. [2]

The U.S.N. Army would again see action when the Second Huffman Conflict broke out in 2090. While the first month of the conflict would see the U.S.N. Army capturing Freedom, the capital of the O.C.U. settlements on Huffman, the conflict would fall into a stalemate that would end a year later when the O.C.U. Army was able to reconquer Freedom in the first days of August. Following the recapture of Freedom, the U.S.N. Army steadily lost ground and was pushed back to Fort Monus, the last line of defense before the capital city of Rupidis. Following the capture of Fort Monus by the O.C.U. Army, the Peace Mediation Organization would once again mediate an end to the conflict.
